I lived and worked for five years in South Korea the first time in the early 80's. These single cylinder knock off's of an earlier Japanese design, were affectionally known by the Expats as Kim-Chee Cadillac's. The trailers were made out of the beds of the hundreds of Russian trucks that were abandoned when MacArthur cut off the North Koreans and Chinese after landing at Inchon. Whole families would travel down the roads in these things. They actually were perfect for the terrain. In the early 80's, 60% of the population lacked electricity and running water.
