A few years before I left the workforce, my eyesight improved to the point I did not need glasses but still had to have safety glasses and the cheaters. I did a lot of work overhead in electrical cabinets and machine repair so I had a problem. I was talking to an electrical contractor about that and he suggested I look at Grainger supply as we did a lot of business with them anyway. I found these, bifocal readers. These are called double D which is readers top and bottom and clear in the middle. I still use them when welding or grinding even though I need glasses now again but do not have prescription safety glasses. These are available in various diopter and different style frames for only about $20.Click image for larger version.

Only need a couple ears, but missing ears you could just tie a string to the end of each one and drape across the top of head.
