    Your cellphone reference is spot on. They are not repairable any longer because they have been made that way. I had a Samsung Note 2 for 4 years. Replaced the battery and kept on using it. Now I am stuck with my Note20 lasting as long as the battery survives. 2 years still ok. A car will last around 10 to 15 years. I just hate the idea of a company forcing us into planned obsolescence. To bad there are no governments with enough thinking ability to force the right to repair.
