    sds skutch chissel

    heres a home made sds scutch chissel. a new one was priced at £30.00 this one cost £2.oo to make its a hand held chissel cut in half and another old sds chissel halved . one side was bored out and tapered the other turned down with spigot and tapered . both welded together and ground down . its tried and tested and works great

    thanks Ken I have one wider thought, I have used it to break concrete but my concrete Hilti tool just has chisel type ends. I like the idea and could see doing the same with mine.

    I only knew what this was because I bought such a drill online once by mistake.

    Makes easy work 'jacking' through rock when I laid small foundation for a chook house (chicken coop I think non-Aussies called it).

    Was wondering what a skutch chisel does too. Great solution. Much better than using an ordinary chisel when chipping at concrete surfaces.
