Vertical mounted pattern fixture plate

A guy called me and asked if I could straighten the H link to the bucket of his excavator. I Told him yes but I had to build a fixture to repair it

I started out by cutting a 1" plate aprox. 20 by 30 inches then drilled a pattern of holes on a 2" grid with my mag drill








After drilling all of the holes I welded it to the Hero column of my shop I will be able to utilize it for any number of special tasks requiring something very stout and immovable I am thinking about a weld positioner or even a rotisserie for rotating a truck frame
