Homemade Taig Lathe Auxiliary Spindle

DESCRIPTION:
Homemade auxiliary spindle intended for use with a Taig lathe. Body is milled from a solid block of aluminum and mounted on the cross slide. Spindle is 1/2" CRS, with one end threaded 3/8-24 to accommodate a drill chuck or tool arbor. The unit is pulley-driven by a sewing machine motor via an O-ring drive belt.
