This video takes a closer look at whether it’s possible, or even sensible, to incorporate a pull-down feature into the fixed jaw of a vise or fixture, and whether such an idea actually works in practice. Of course, the key requirement here is that the reference position must stay exactly where we told it to stay, ideally without wandering off the moment we apply the pull-down.
