3 ton free standing jib crane

Ok actually if you were to install a 7 ton hoist on it and loaded it all the way out to the end of the boom the crane would have still be safe and stable I built this for a maintenance facility that repaired vehicles for the US Army so the rating had to be graded according to Government standards

the bottom bearings

the crane leg 18" sch 160 pipe

the bottom bearings before assembly into the outer shell

top bearings on the 3 1/2" top pivot shaft

crane leg machined, fabricated and ready for paint

Home made carbon brush swivel for 3 ph with ground 3/8 by 1 1/2" brushes

Anchor bolt assembly for mounting of the crane the pit was dug 6 ft deep 10 feet wide by 10 feet long

crane boom ready for paint

installed and ready for use
