    That's cute if you're splitting little pieces of wood. The rounds I split are 2 to 4 feet in diameter...

    I see his key-way cutting skills did not stand the test of time! His solution rather appalled me, welding the shaft at both ends to the gear hub! :-(
    Severe thumbs down for that! His one bolt fastening of the electric motor, was right up there with Heath Robinson, too!
    His lack of materials lead to a couple of design anomalies... see the bottom of the gearbox mounts...
