Drill Press Table Modification-------E Z Clampable drill press table

Drill Press Table Modification. Made from 3/4 inch Doug fur and 5200 calking.

How many times have we wanted to use clamp on a vise or work piece on the drill press table, only to find those support ribs right in the way.
So my answer to this is to fill up the space with wood and now I can clamp any where I like as well as use the bolt holes. you can to now.

note 5200 marine calking is so strong I have used it to seal thru hull fittings.I had to double shim it on either side of the slot under the wood to get it level,so when I put the clamp on it would not brake the wood. Be sure to fasten all work properly.
