The insurance company is going to love them. Also they were only using a single strap under the Frig, very unwise decision.

years ago I bought a real appliance dolly with rollers on the back, handles on the side and back as well as locations for extra straps top and bottom. I've moved so many heavy and VERY heavy items with it never once had any problems even with the giant 150 gal concrete filled water heater that took 3 people to move. I tied those strap things once, someone else had them. I stopped the move and went to get my dolly after that the guy went and bought his own dolly. Those straps are a nice idea but I have never seen them work for big heavy appliances. Washers, ovens, dishwashers yea, sure they are fine, but nothing else. Just in my experiences, anyway. All the professional delivery companies I have used also used dollies, and at most only used the straps if a last resort, they hated them.
