Here is a video of how to convert a trashed hockey puck into an adapter. Chuck the tool into your electric drill and it will open and close the movable jaw in a few seconds.

I did pretty much the same thing, but welded an old socket onto the crank handle. I use an impact driver to open and close it as necessary.

Im not sure where I cant get a hokey puck hear in florida...oh wight!!! we have a hockey team about 50 miles away in penscola!!! but what good would it do me since you have my band saw!! mine is mounted on a harbor fright $10 wooden moving dolly... keep up the mind work and keep posting all your ideas!!

I live in Phoenix. Lots of ice rinks here for hockey and figure skating. Doesn’t have to be pro.

that reminded me...I was a champion Iceskater when I was young...... atleast thats what i told my wife&kids.... and it is true...but...I had ice skates made by champion....and I skated on them.... and fell a lot too. last time I skated was about 15 years ago...too skeered to fall. had a great time. my youngest too right to skating after a few icy but incidents. hmm I wonder if she is doing any skating in Kosovo? Ill have to ask her. last time I saw her skaiting was in Switzerland. I need to get back there...soon. I wish I could afford a home in Italy.

I can fall down with the best of them but my wife, Donna, is a series figure skater. She has a coach, custom boots, Sheffield steel blades, and very high standards for sharpening those blades. Here is a machine I built with help from John Herrmann which restores the curvature of the blade to new with every sharpening.
