Well judging from her attitude she told him she knew what she was doing and leave me alone

Driver - "I have a Mercedes I do not have to stop for construction barriers"

Worker - "Lady there is a train coming you have to move your car"

Driver - "I have a Mercedes trains have to stop for me"

Worker - "Lady there is a train coming you have to move your car"



Driver - "You are not listening to me, I have a Mercedes"

Worker - "Lady there is a train coming get out of your car"

CRASH...


Drivre - " Oh help me help me help me"

Worker - "Nice car lady, is it new"

At the beginning she had gotten out of her car and moved 1 barricade. I don't understand why she didn't have enough sense to move the 1 in front of her car instead.
Then after the workman moved the second barricade she just sat there. Maybe after backing up, she got confused or something.
Watching the video in slow motion and on full screen, had she not backed up in the first place the train might have just missed her anyway.

You can hear the engine revving up but the car didn't move - I suspect she got confused and put the car in neutral instead of drive?

On closer examination of the video, she had already driven around barricades at the other end of the work zone. It appears the workers had properly blocked off their work zone from both directions.

Very possibly. also, she could have been in a state of panic. Rational thought goes out the window when panic is involved.
