OK, it was the "Automatically retrieve titles from external links" option which was causing the problem.

Thank you, great project. I have desired to do some sort of T&C grinder.

Strange there is no sound on the video links or even on the .mov downloads, at least for the first link.

A windows 10 thing I am sure in volume control the indicator is jumping indicating sound but...

    Ralph,

I checked the videos (on Win 10) before I uploaded them and they all had sound. All I can suggest is using a different viewer. I use VLC video player which is free. In the past it has worked for me when Microsoft's thing doesn't.
Is anyone else having trouble with the sound? I think that the vids. have little or no value without that.

Thanks for a great write-up of a terrific project TF. While I wouldn't say that I am any expert on the build projects here and I certainly haven't contributed any of my own, but I don't remember seeing any article as well written as yours, or any article with as much detail either. A great job well done. Thanks again and best wishes,
    Rob.

Congratulations tonyfoale, your Tool and Cutter Grinder is our Best Documented Build winner for January 2017!

It's hard to beat the format of a tightly edited start-to-finish build video complete with annotations, but you won this one with a multi-format combination of numerous details, photos, videos, and a spreadsheet. You'll notice a new Best Documented Build award icon in your postbit beneath your avatar.

Some other well-documented builds this month include a Fork Carriage by Frank S, a Metal Bender by Vyacheslav.Nevolya, a Drill Press Stand by Tuomas, and Simple Bar Clamps by Tuomas. We also had some nice PDF tool writeups from rgsparber: PVC Stop Cutter, Countersink Gage, and PVC Pipe Forming Method. In addition, tonyfoale also had some other well-documented builds: Shock Absorber Dynamometer and Mill Motor Modification.

Please confirm your email address via PM to me, and I'll get your $35 award sent out, via your choice of PayPal, Amazon, or bitcoin.

    Congrats again!

Here are all of our previous monthly Best Documented Build winners:
