Milling machine - video

I conducted experiment with drawbar and impact wrench. It works surprisingly well. So decision is simple - I stay with current spindle nad I'm going to rebuild machine head according to original plan. Of course for power drawbar system I would buy much smaller impact wrench - the one from video is overkill for this task.

I also installed LC filter between VFD and motor - high frequency noise from motor windings is gone



There were also improvements in power feed controls. Details will be shown in next video.
