    Rolling ball bump tool

I originally made mine as a bump tool that could be used to bump o/d's & faces true on a centre lathe. It was suggested that I try it as a burnishing tool so I gave it a go. I intend to make a video where it burnishes a complex form - if it works..

Burnishing video, sorry about the video quality & music.

Bump tool video, the ball is supported by much smaller ones in a spherical cup & can roll in any direction.

Could you please share the specific ball transfer unit that you used? I'd like to make a bump tool like yours, and I'm having trouble finding a ball transfer with that same or similar geometry - most have a much wider flange diameter and wouldn't work in this application.
