The post below is the sensitive drilling platform I made last year.

I had also made a tapping stand a few years ago so it became obvious to me that
with just a little modification I could combine both and have a system for using very
small drills and taps. The system is not limited to very small taps and drills but can also
be used for work up to about 1/4" or so.
Here is the link to the original Tapping Stand, I did not have plans for this at the time I
built it so I will include the plans for it in this post. Here is the original Tapping Stand:

Both Dremel and Proxxon rotary tools have new adaptor plates in this post that have
not been shown elsewhere. The Proxxon is a superior tool that is quiet, very smooth and
I have found it a real pleasure to use.
